Service Description
Forest School After School Club – Kippax Greenfields Primary: 5 week block beginning 21st April Our Forest School After School Club offers children the chance to explore, play, and learn outdoors in our woodland environment. Sessions are child-led and designed to build confidence, independence, and curiosity through nature-based activities. Children may take part in a range of hands-on experiences including den building, woodland crafts, nature exploration, tool use (when appropriate), seasonal activities, and campfire cooking. Forest School encourages teamwork, resilience, creativity, and a connection with the natural world. As we are outside in all weather, children must come prepared with appropriate clothing. Please ensure your child brings: Wellies A waterproof coat Warm layers depending on the season Forest School runs in most weather conditions (except extreme weather), so suitable outdoor clothing is essential to keep children comfortable and able to enjoy the session.

Forest School After School Club – Additional Needs & SEND We aim to make Forest School as welcoming and inclusive as possible and want every child to have a safe and positive experience outdoors. If your child has any additional needs, medical conditions, behavioural needs, or an EHCP, please ensure this information is disclosed when booking so we can determine whether the environment and activities are suitable. Our after-school club runs with set staffing ratios, and unfortunately we are not able to provide 1:1 support within this session. Sharing information about your child helps us plan appropriately and keep all children safe in the woodland environment. We appreciate your support in ensuring all relevant information is disclosed at the time of booking. Please check and sign the waiver on booking
