Great & Little Preston Family Forest Day

Service Description

This session is being run as a partnership between Wilderness Adventures & Great and Little Preston Parish Council at Peasecroft Wood on Sat 24th September. This will be for families who reside in Great or Little Preston. This event has been subsidised by the Parish Council to offer local residents 50% off the ticket price - this discount has already been included in your tickets :D This forest school session is suitable for the whole family. There are limited spaces available which will be on a first come, first serve basis. Parking is available at Great Preston Village Hall. We will begin the session by meeting you at the snicket, "Fleakingley Lane", on Whitehouse Avenue, which leads to the woodland (shown on map below). We will take the short walk together through the woods to our base camp, where we will have activities out for children upto approx age 11. We will have a number of activities out to encourage child led play and exploration. At the end of the session we always have time to reflect and come together and toast marshmallows together as a group. We have strived to create an inclusive community where Dads, Grandads, Grandmas, Mothers, Foster carers, Aunties or Family friends can bring the lucky child in their life along and feel welcomed and supported in the woodland. We run in all kinds of weather, except high winds and torrential rain! Please dress yourself and your children in appropriate clothing, as you will be outside for the duration of the session. We also strongly advise full length trousers and closed toe sturdy footwear 😁 ⭐ This session is subsidised and run exclusively for residents of Great and Little Preston. Address details must be given on the booking form, and it is necessary that these details and your name are passed onto the Council to prove eligibility for funding. Your details will not be passed on or used for any other purposes. ⭐ Under 9 months are free when accompanying a full paying sibling. ⭐ If you have any further questions, or are having issues booking your spot then please contact us!

Cancellation Policy

- Please contact us ASAP if you can not attend - If you cant attend we will endeavour to sell on your ticket, if we can we will refund you according to the policy below - If you are eligible for a refund, the ticket cost (minus the processing fee) will be paid back into your payment account OR you can have a voucher for the FULL price paid to be used against any of our sessions. We will waive processing/booking fees if the request for refund is made more than 30 days prior to session or course start date. - In the event of event cancellation due to, but not inclusive of, staff illness and extreme/unsafe weather conditions, we will notify you at the earliest opportunity via the contact details supplied on the booking form. You will be entitled to a full refund in the event of session cancellation on the part of Wilderness Adventures CIC. A full refund for a session cancelled part way through will be at the discretion of Wilderness Adventures CIC.
