Service Description
This short course will provide those who care for young children with knowledge and skills to deal with a range of situations including not breathing, choking, poisoning, burns and temperature issues. We will also cover outdoor climate and the affect this has on first aid and risk, and more outdoor specific injuries such as bites, stings, impaling and natural poisons. You will learn about some common (and less common) poisonous plants which you may find in UKs woodlands and outdoor spaces and how you might deal with accidents involving these plants/insects. This is a new course specifically designed to meet the needs of our families, carers or professionals who often frequent natural spaces with children. Price includes teas, coffees and biscuits. We are an outdoor space so please dress appropriately for the weather. There are toilets and parking on site and the majority of the site (all that is used for this course) is wheelchair accessible.

Cancellation Policy
- Please contact us ASAP if you can not attend - If you cant attend we will endeavour to sell on your ticket, if we can, even if this is after the cancellation deadline, we will refund you according to the policy below -For one off sessions you can reschedule your session for free on the website up to 14 days before the event, for courses this is calculated from the first session of the course. - You can request a refund for a session which you can no longer attend, up to 14 days before the event (or course start date) - If you are eligible for a refund, the ticket cost (minus the processing fee) will be paid back into your payment account OR you can have a voucher for the FULL price paid to be used against any of our sessions. We will waive processing/booking fees if the request for refund is made more than 30 days prior to session or course start date. - In the event of event cancellation due to, but not inclusive of, staff illness and extreme/unsafe weather conditions, we will notify you at the earliest opportunity via the contact details supplied on the booking form. You will be entitled to a full refund in the event of session cancellation on the part of Wild in the Woods Ltd. A full refund for a session cancelled part way through will be at the discretion of Wilderness Adventures CIC.
