Raising Wild Women!

Service Description

Join us for a special cross-generational experience aimed at promoting well-being, bonding, and women empowerment. We will provide a unique opportunity for women of all ages to come together and connect with nature, themselves, and others. Embrace the wild within! We will be doing some forest school and seasonal activities and will do a group cook around the fire. There will be plenty of time to relax and 'just be'. The first session is aimed at younger children, 6-11 yr olds and their significant women, be that older sisters, aunties, carers, grandmothers, mothers, or whatever relation they take! The second session is the same but aimed at 12-16yr olds and their women, the next gen Wild Women! :D This ones just for women, as we recognise the need for these spaces and for women to feel confident in a stereotypically 'male' environment of knives, fire and tools. We will however be looking to roll this out to include other genders and do some 'Lads and Dads' type days too. Please do get in touch if this is something that you would like so we know there is a demand! We trust your judgement on your gender identity, no explanations needed. The location of Wild women is the same woodlands we run our Saplings sessions from if you are familiar with these. If not, it is dead easy to find! Go to the end of Park Lane, Kippax (LS25 7AP) and go through some large metal gates, you cant miss them! Parking is directly to the right and the woodlands is to the left, we will meet you there! :D

Cancellation Policy

- Please contact us ASAP if you can not attend - If you cant attend we will endeavour to sell on your ticket, if we can, even if this is after the cancellation deadline, we will refund you according to the policy below -For one off sessions you can reschedule your session for free on the website up to 14 days before the event, for courses this is calculated from the first session of the course. - You can request a refund for a session which you can no longer attend, up to 30 days before the event (or course start date) - If you are eligible for a refund, the ticket cost (minus the processing fee) will be paid back into your payment account OR you can have a voucher for the FULL price paid to be used against any of our sessions. We will waive processing/booking fees if the request for refund is made more than 30 days prior to session or course start date. - In the event of event cancellation due to, but not inclusive of, staff illness and extreme/unsafe weather conditions, we will notify you at the earliest opportunity via the contact details supplied on the booking form. You will be entitled to a full refund in the event of session cancellation on the part of Wilderness Adventures CIC. A full refund for a session cancelled part way through will be at the discretion of Wilderness Adventures CIC.
